Most of the year the nearby swamp is wet and mysterious!

It’s all dry now, but not for long!

Winter rains will fill it all up again soon.

Now you can see all the knarley roots!

The water makes weird sculptures!

Alfie and Jack love it down here!  But we only come in the winter…not snakey and skeeter summer time!  Do you see Alfie?

Wonder what lives under here!  Probably Armadillo.  They are everywhere!

It looks like a sculptor has been down here!

Roots galore!

The swamp is at the bottom of several hills.

It’s a good workout to hike back up hill!
